Each of our programs is designed around the real, lived needs of persons with disabilities and their families — with dignity and care at the centre of everything we do.

Beadwork skills development session

Personalised assistance for persons with physical, intellectual, and sensory disabilities — including personal care, skills development such as beadwork and crafts, and meaningful social support.
Who it's for: Persons of all ages with any type of disability in our service areas.
Group exercise and daily activities
Daily care & support programs
Daily
Structured daily programmes including nutritious meals, recreational activities, group exercise, and meaningful social interaction. Our caregivers work alongside beneficiaries with compassion and consistency.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30–15:30.

Safe, accessible transport to and from the centre for beneficiaries in Refiloe, Onverwacht, and Mamelodi East. Our transport removes a key barrier to access, ensuring no one is left behind.

Health screening at Tshepong Centre
HIV & TB screening
Health
On-site HIV counselling and testing, TB screening and referral services in partnership with health authorities. We break down barriers to health access for persons with disabilities who may face extra challenges accessing clinics.
Who it's for: All beneficiaries and community members.
Community health outreach
Hearing screening
Health
Early detection of hearing impairment for children and adults, with referral pathways to specialists and assistive devices. Early identification changes life outcomes for families across our communities.
Who it's for: Children and adults — especially those not yet diagnosed.
International volunteer outreach event
Community outreach programs

Awareness campaigns, home visits, and community advocacy in Refiloe, Onverwacht, and Mamelodi East — promoting inclusion, access to services, and the rights of persons with disabilities.

Arts & crafts
Painting, beadwork, sock puppets, and creative arts that build fine motor skills and confidence.
Music & movement
Dance, stretching, and music sessions that support physical wellbeing and joy.
Digital literacy
Basic tablet and technology skills to support learning and communication.
Therapy partnerships
Horse riding therapy, animal-assisted activities, and dental health screenings through partner organisations.

How to access our services

Our services are open to persons with disabilities and their families in Refiloe, Onverwacht, and Mamelodi East. There are no eligibility fees. To find out how to access a specific program, please contact us directly — our team will guide you through the referral process.
